 IT's FINALLY FRIDAY FOLKS
Well here it is, finally....Friday October 29, 2004. This is the
night in which the Comanches will back up all the smack talk that
has been on this fine message board the last week. It is the calm
before the storm right now. At 3:00p.m. today the war dance will
begin. According to TexasFootballRatings, they have it as #1 Shiner
vs. #7 Flatonia. This was the only poll that I could find that had
FLatonia ranked in the top ten. I hope this will be the biggest
crowd ever at Comanche Stadium. I think the crowds really get the
players fired up and make for some exciting football.

If you're coming in from Gonzales.....it's on your left, just past
the Ford Car/Truck Dealership. It's disguised as old Diamond
Shamrock. If you're coming in from Flatonia........when you get to
the red light, turn right. Follow all the way through town. You will
pass the Ford Tractor Dealership, then just past Dollar General you
will see Howards. Come on in and enjoy that Shiner Hospitality!

Okay Shiner Fans...let's get our boys off to an exceptionally
pumped start by attending the Pep Rally today...lots of fun and
excitement in store....A good start to a victorious evening...Mom's
are putting on the pep rally and should be a hoot...some of us are
showing off our special "talents" .... Come show your Comanche
spirit!!! And Flatonia...if you guys have the nerve to show..your
welcome to see how the number 1 ranked team in Texas...get's their
fans to rockin'...Of course, you'll experience it tonight under the
lights of Comanche Stadium where the BIG BOYS come out to play!! I'm
expecting a hard hitting game and I hear the tomahawks being
sharpened!!!

Hello all!
The long awaited Friday is here. It's a quarter
to 11...and I just woke up not too long ago
...so y'all have a head start on me!! So I'll catch up...
As
far as the Comanche Moon...it was already out last night...really
gettin' those Comanches goin'...but they had to hold it in...b/c
today is THE DAY!!! Two Comanche Moons in a row...what a massacre!!
Those poor little BullPUPPIES are gonna be
hurtin'!
Bigmacmom...it was fun while it lasted(my MYSTERIOUS
identity)...
but thanks for the compliment. He's lucky to have such a great fan
like you as well...one of the TRUE Comanche fans...THAT STANDS AND
YELLS THE WHOLE ENTIRE GAME!!! NO SITTING ALLOWED....ESPECIALLY
TONIGHT!!!! You are one dedicated mamma...and Comanche fan! He's
proud to claim you! I'm bringing a camera tonight...of course...so
if I get any good shots of parents night...you can pick through. And
don't forget...tonight he's...A FOOTBALL PLAYER
!!!
Good luck to both teams...Flatonia needs it..oops..did I say
that. Anyways...let's have an injury free game...and everyone have a
safe trip. (Flatonia fans...and players/coaches/bus drivers...be
safe on the way home...it's hard to see the road when you got tears
in your eyes!!!

I love all of these new-comers to the boards that don't actually
know that much about 1A football, all they now is how good their
team is SUPPOSE to be....the Comanches will do very well
tonight....their team has too many sides and levels to it....The
lowest amount have points they've scored in a game was 24, and that
was the first was of the season.....the only points scored on them
in district was on a questionable run by Lousie late in the 4th
quarter.....I just see the comanches dominating too
easily......

I know that the Dogs are ready to fight tonight. I just have one
thing to say Who let the Dogs out!!!!! Yes it will be a tough fight
but i know that the Bulldogs will come out on top. You Shiner fans
are goin to be so scared when you see all the maroon on the vistors
side. Oh and BTW don't for that 3 digit for the vistors side. All
this talk you fans are doin for Shiner, I just hope your boys can
pull threw. I know our boys can!!!

FYI: I follow football in and out, you can ask me anything bout
football and i can tell you. I might be a gal and a newcomer to this
site but i know one thing. For small towns, football is all we have
and if you can't hang with the big DAWGS then stay away. Shiner get
ready for a beating tonight.

Good luck too Shiner. I hope everyone has a safe trip home, a clean
football game, and no injuries.

tribal tomahawk, we have all seen the numbers and know that Shiner
has them on our side. That does not mean that people "don't know
much about 1a football". We can beat the numbers game to death but
that wouldn't be as much fun. And we all know the only number that
really matter is the final score tonight. I am glad, however, that
you are there to put a little reality in all this fun.

Our coaching coaches our JR. High the same way they coach the
varsity. They run the same offense and defense as the varsity and
the more coaches on the sideline the better coached our kids are.

Scoreboard Repair
I drove by Comanche Stadium this morning and saw the electrical
crew out there working on the scoreboard. They were adding a digit
to the Shiner side and taking one away from the visitors side. Also,
they said they were going to put the play clock at 60 seconds for
Flatonia just to give them a little more time to come up with
something. I'm sure Flatonia's coaches are going to be scratching
there heads wondering how in the h--- to stop those
Comanches.
1:04p.m...........6 hours 26 minutes till kickoff!

Shiner will keep the #1 ranking after tonights romping. Flatonia
will tumble down just like they did after week #1. We all know what
happened in week #1, don't we. If anyone needs a reminder just let
me know and I will fill you in. There are no excuses in

I graduated in 1980 and that year we beat Shiner 38-6 on Comanche
field. We won District that night just like we are going to do
tonight.

Mark down 1980 in your book because that didn't happen very much
over the years! Will not happen tonight either. I work with a guy in
Victoria, who is from Flatonia. He said he knows kidluke. I'm not
sure what year he graduated. I would guess '96 or '97 but not real
sure.

Actually, I moved into Flatonia 3 years ago. I own stock in two
major corporations in Seattle. I am living the good life at this
point. I fell in love with High School Football and I enjoy watching
the Dogs.

I was #20. I remember some of those guys on that teams. One of the
guys nickname was Hook but is real last name was Price. Another guy
last name was Rohan-real fast.

Yes , that great running back is no longer around .He had a
terrible accident.I wonder if you remember that Shiner had 9 fumbles
that night ,and still out rushed the dogs.To bad we did'nt take two
teams to the playoffs back then.

you know i've been reading this and i just had to make a
comment...the last time flatonia and shiner played with the playoffs
in the balance was back in 95..flatonia still won the game but
didn't make the playoffs because we needed to beat shiner by 10 or
more...the last play of the game was a hailmary in which the ball
bounced off one of our guys and shiner's wide receiver caught it and
ran it in for a touchdown to lessen the point spread at the time

I also remember in 94 when we beat shiner @ shiner and after the
game we felt bad for those comanches so we sang their fight song to
them since they didn't get to hear it during the game...i heard
flatonia boys are ready to sing again
