Hey shinerfan73 the only thing great about this game Friday will be
if you are a Bulldog fan. So if you drink Shiner beer there will be
a tear in your beer. The dogs are hungry and feeding time will be
7:30 at Comanche Field. You might want to leave the kids at home
cause this could get ugly.

This wont even be a game for the comanches i saw flatonia and runge
and i wasnt impressed wiht those dawgs go shiner and good luck later
on in the playoffs we will be waiten for ya next year

Well, fans....looks like we have a pretty good rivalry goin'. I
hope you Flatonia folks do remember that this is our last home
game....the last time the Comanche seniors will be playing at
Comanche stadium. I know those boys won't take that lightly. You

shirt...to wipe the tears away when the DOGS go home with their tail
between their legs!!

All you Shiner fans on here...we're gonna have to make it a point
to keep our fans into the game. Most of the time they are lively at
the beginning...but as soon as we start blowin' someone out of the
water...they get a tad quiet. Seein' as we're going to blow the dogs
out of the water...we've got some work ahead of us. The Shiner guys
are getting pumped up already...hanging up papers to fire them
up...posting pictures up in the locker rooms...and there's more to
come, I'm sure. Our boys are ready...and it's only Tuesday...just
imagine how pumped up they will be by Friday. Dogs BEWARE!!! The
senior guys want to make their last game on Comanche Field a
memorable one...and what would be more memorable than rubbing a
victory in the faces of the Flatonia BullPUPPIES?!? I guess it would
seem wrong to want to take to a bunch of Pups...but it is a whole
lot easier when they try to talk like BIG dogs...when they can't
back it up. How many people have come on here sayin' that they've
seen how Flatonia plays...and they're not impressed at all? --Quite
a bit more than people against Shiner. That shows a bit about who
plays better. Flatonia...watch out...Comanches are fired and ready
to go. If I were y'all I'd wish to play Shiner on
Wednesday...because an extra 2 days...is 2 days worth of firing
up...and motivation!!
Go Shiner!!! I'll be backin' you
guys...all the way to STATE!!!

Well shinerfan73 if yall boys have to hang up paper clippings to
get fired up to play---SHINER YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. The Dogs stay
ready so they don't have to get ready. Remember if you can't run
with the BIG DOGS stay on the porch and the porch will be
overflowing with comanches Friday night. This is your seniors last
home game, well it will be one to remember-a loss. It doesn't matter
that the other folks in the district are not impressed with The Dogs
because we are kickin butt every Friday night and guess what SHINER
YOU ARE NEXT.

were last seen headed towards Yoakum. Let me warn you there are
Bulldogs in Yoakum but their bite is not as nasty as the Real Dogs

Boy, it's raining because we finally agree on one thing , and that
it will be a packed house.Hope the rain does'nt hurt the bulldog
passing game.Maybe the dog's will want to play with a bone ,cause
that's about the only thing they will be good at Friday night,is
eating a bone from some of the other teams that the Comanches have
all ready slaughtered.

In Flatonia our quarterback still knows how to pass the ball in the
rain but we probably will not need to do that after we RUN
OVER,AROUND AND THROUGH that great defense. I hope the little injuns
are practicing on their passing game. Oh my bad they don't know what

Obviously you havent seen the Comanche's play cuz if you had you'd
know that veer offense has won game after game after game after
playoff game....and who says Comanche's cant pass...been looking
pretty good in every direction...and on the subject of
defense....PLEEEEEZZZZZZ.....you just wish you had what Shiner
has....and we have one advantage that you guys dont....and it's a

When it comes down to it...the refs never have played a part in ANY
game that has been played in Shiner. I've seen refs in Shiner have
bad calls against Shiner...as well as the opposing teams...so their
is no favoritism in Shiner.
And as for our passing...Shiner
does know what passing means...the comment that we don't know must
come from someone that isn't up to date on the VICTORIOUS
Comanches.
As far as our
DEFENSE...ain't
no dogs goin' "around, and through" and whatever else. The only
thing happening is the
PUPPIES
goin' face first in the dirt when that line puts a stop to them.

This was in another post somewhere.....
(District 31 - Week
9 Flatonia (4-0) takes on Shiner (4-0) and Shiner will play Pettus
(4-1) in week 10. Pettus has week 9 off. A Flatonia win in week 9
would put them in the playoffs.)
This won't happen Flatonia.
Don't worry though, a 5-1 District record is nothing to be
embarrassed about!

sounds like this is going to be a great game. flatonia better hope
they win. if they lose they get put in THORNDALE side of the
bracket. then they will really find out who the real dogs are. just
like they do everytime THORNDALE and flatonia play.

I wish it was Friday all ready ,so I can watch them Comanches for
the last time at home this year. For a lot of schools the season is
nearly over ,but for the Comanche fans and player's the best part of
the season begins this Friday.The reason is because we all know that
every game from here on out will be a very important one and you
better be ready , each week because it could be the last.But for the
Comanche's this would be very disappointing to lose because of the
high standards that the team sets for their self. We the fans are
real supportive toward the players and are pretty spoiled when it
comes to winning games. So for the fans ,I am real sure that not
playing at lease 5 or 6 games would be a disappointment this
year.

Don't worry Shiner fans, I have already talked to the Chief of
Police. He is going to give the animal control officer Friday night
off. Seems he is also confident those 30 something guys on the field
will have no problem rounding up those

how bad flatonia was last year, i am goin with shiner by at least 3
tds. i just can't see how flatonia is any better than last year. and

Dr. Clutch why didn't you guys play us this year? After playing
every team in this rugged district what makes you think yall would
be such a challenge. Lexington beat you 52-0 on your home field.
O5Beaver, last year when we played our qb got hurt in the first
half. The game was close until then if you where watching the game.
The Beavers will have their shot at us next week but we are a little
nervous because yall beat Louise by 40. I would say the game will be
a tossup. All you Shiner fans I'm beginning to see what drinking
that brew will do to you. All of you need to go get a checkup from
the neck up. boom,boom,boom-Thats the sound of the little injuns
running away. At last report they where on the outskirts of Cuero.

I would love to play Thorndale in the playoffs. It would be a very
good game and the kids would be up for the challenge. Nobody knows
who would win that game until the teams line up and play. I think
both teams are very well coached and would be happy to play in the
3rd round. Let's just worry about Friday night.
