When and Where?
The Bocktoberfest 2000 is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, at the historic Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas. Gates open at 12:00 NOON (rain or "Shiner"!) Music begins at 12:30 and runs throughout the day ... don't miss the Fireworks Finale at 10:30pm.
Who Will Perform?
Robert Earl Keen, a true Texas original and longtime member of Shiner's extended family, will once again keep 'em rockin' as he closes this year's show. A favorite of cowboys, frat-boys, hippies and alternative rockers, Keen draws one of the most diverse and loyal crowds of any Texas artist. He tops a Bocktoberfest Concert bill filled with an eclectic mix of talent from national stars like multi-platinum college rock legends The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Texas-based favorites like Americana crooner Charlie Robison, country star Kelly Willis, guitar hero Monte Montgomery, singer-songwriter Trish Murphy and Austin-based country-folk duo Harris & Ryden.
