Hunters who are age 17 or less before November 5, 2011 will be registered in the Youth Division. The four (4) best bucks taken from Colorado, DeWitt, Fayette, Gonzales or Lavaca Counties will be awarded prizes.

Registered hunters of the youth division are eligible for prizes in the Texas Open Division but then forfeit their eligibility to win in the Youth Division. All rules governing 2011 Shiner Area Big Buck Contest apply to the youth division.

* NOTE: If the winner of the Youth Division contest has won this division in a previous season, the First Prize (lifetime hunting and fishing license) can't be given to the same individual. Instead, a $1,000 gift card to Academy Sports and Outdoors will be awarded as a substitute prize.
